100 Days Of Gratitude – Day 4
I’m taking a moment today to be grateful for a herbal tea. “The simple things in life are often the best.” I love to take a few minutes out of a busy day to sit and experience the tea, not just drink it and go on my way. Perhaps it’s worth noting that I’m grateful for the study of mindfulness and awareness that has been part of my coach training and neuroleadership studies. When I have taken time out to experience the tea, the fragrance, the feel of the little Chinese tea cup in my hand, the flavour, the warmth of the tea in my mouth, and the sound of the breeze outside… I go back to my work with a clear mind, refreshed and ready to be creative again. It’s also a chance to slow down and reflect on how much I have to be grateful for in my life, and how I can choose gratitude in any given moment.
