Grandma and I, June 09
Today I’m delighted to share that I’m grateful for my Grandparents! These pictures are with my Dad’s parents, who have been married 65 years and are aged 93 & 94. I see them regularly, as I have since I was a baby. I’m so thankful for their love for each other, their love that has stood the test of time and the storms of life. The way they care for each other now is beautiful and inspiring. I’m so thankful that my son has the opportunity to visit and know his Great Grandparents, both my Dad’s parents and my Mum’s parents. (who live in Sydney)
I took these photos yesterday; they were reluctant to have their photos taken until I told them I was journaling what I’m grateful for… they went a little quiet and nodded their permission ;-)
It’s so easy to be thankful for something every day – my challenge is choosing just one thing to write about!
