Vast Blue Skies and beautiful people at the farm I grew up on are the highlights of my Gratitude today! After lunch – which I thoroughly enjoyed, Mum and my brother David were moving cattle from one place to another so I walked with them and took a few snaps. The sky was amazing – so blue and lightly brushed with fine clouds, the grasses so green and vibrant. And the tiny calves so clean and cute.
I noticed at lunch (where we had a guest), that the conversation was so typical of many of our conversations – we talked about inspiring people and very funny stories, of which Dad has many. Dad and I both have a habit of crying when we laugh, and everyone else tends to keep laughing because they’re laughing at us. I’m so grateful for my family, and my farm upbringing. It’s so incredibly relaxing to walk around the farm, ride the motorbikes or jump on the back of a ute. I’m so thankful that I can show Ethan some of the great places I’d go to with my books, such as favourite big trees, or the roof of the shed where I’d sit and read for hours, just that bit closer to the sky.
Beautiful!
What are you grateful for?
Cheering you on,
Love Kerrie
