Great food is something we can take for granted in our culture, it comes easily to us. I’m thankful today for an amazing lunch prepared by Lyndon, lamb cutlets with vegetables… (this is one of the reasons I’m told by friends that they want “a Lyndon too”). Along the same theme… I’m grateful for a beautiful dinner tonight – a mushroom and smoked salmon risotto. How many people don’t get healthy, nutritious food like we do here?
After a “short meeting” at the milestone with Lana (see Day 26) to discuss progress on the book (Lana’s been sharing some great ideas with me) some of her colleagues and friends arrived and the conversations continued! This book project is not only exciting, but a valuable learning experience for me – not only in the world of publishing, but the world of regional entrepreneurs and people who can’t wait to read their stories! So while I’ve chosen to focus on gratitude for good food, I can’t help but be grateful for my life, and the wonderful people who walk into it.
Cheering you on,
Love Kerrie
