Grateful again for beautiful people – I am writing something different for every single day of my 100 Days of Gratitude, however you will see some themes emerge…
This morning we popped over to Riverside Church as our dear friend Kevin Watts was there, visiting from Sydney as he trained people to be a pro at the sound desk (…something along those lines). “Audio Production” perhaps. I was meant to be there… what a refreshing morning with beautiful, purposeful people. Kevin & I organised a brunch at Circular Quay in September, so I can spend some time with him and his darling gorgeous wife Rachael. How exciting!!
Meeting Andrew Ironside was another special moment and our conversation about the seasons of life quite profound and encouraging.
And my newest friend – a friend of a friend on facebook, Teonie, is fast becoming a special friend after our facebook chat this afternoon. I’m grateful to be able to connect and share honestly with people and build relationships that go somewhere special. I’m reminded again of one of my favourite quotes – “Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.” – Anais Nin
One more thing! I must squeeze this in as I’m so grateful… Our chatting in the car yesterday to and from Mudgee led to Lyndon deciding to do a 100 Days blog, and I decided what my next 100 Days will be. Lyndon’s just shared his with me and it’s awesome! He’s so funny and honest and profound… I think you’ll enjoy it. I’m grateful that he’s willing to share his thoughts with the world – even if it will make me cringe occasionally!
