Today I’m grateful for a wonderful, sunny day out in the country, with a lovely friend. Maree and I drove nearly 2 hours West to the Nyngan Ag (Agriculture) Expo and, you guessed it – talked all the way there and back. Poor Maree, I’d forgotten to get a photo of us out there, so thinking about how grateful I was to spend time with her, I pulled the camera out on the way home and started snapping pictures! She couldn’t go far, since she was in the drivers seat, but I assure you I got permission to post this picture of her laughing. I love it. Maree is one of those people with a laugh just under the surface which comes easily and often, and she’s a delight to be with. She’s also one of the most passionate people I know and I find her inspiring company. On the was home I read her a chapter of my new book, an interview with another inspiring woman, from QLD. I can’t wait to share it with the world!
