So grateful for a quiet day, a reflective day… it was quite cool, (and at times freezing, windy and raining) so I spent most of it indoors soaking up the sun through the glass. This pic I took from the hallway, a similar view to the one from my room. The river and all the trees and parkland is so beautiful, and the streets full of beautiful old buildings and a few funky new ones. My hotel room at the Hyatt is beautiful and spacious, with all the gear, fluffy bathrobes and all, and I’ve just totally enjoyed the time to write, reflect and take short walks.
I’m really looking forward to speaking at the Adelaide Convention Centre tomorrow, it’s next door, and looks like a wonderful centre.
My 9 year old Ethan called me after dinner to tell me that he’s broken his wrist (his writing hand) – he was at the hospital waiting patiently to see the orthopedic specialist and sounded quite proud of his flight through the air to land 3 metres from his friends large trampoline. I’m grateful that he’s dealing with it well, and hope he’s sleeping well tonight.
Here’s to a great week,
Love Kerrie
