I’m grateful for a relaxing day, with a lunch at the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour, which Ethan has been looking forward to all week, followed by visits with friends. Maree Zwolsman and her daughter Brianna came to visit and we went for a walk “along the beach”. This meant something different to Ethan and Brianna who, fully clothed, “tried” to stay on the edge of the water but were completely drenched in no time. It was very windy and a little chilly, but that doesn’t matter when you’re nearly 8 or 9. It was refreshing for all of us anyway, especially once the mum’s let go of the desire to keep the kids relatively dry.
Naomi and Peter have come over for the boys to “go crabbing” at Boambee Bay. Naomi and I are enjoying the quiet – not sure how long that will last, but we’re grateful!
Have a wonderful week, full of moments and people to be grateful for,
Love Kerrie
