I’m grateful today, as always for my family, tonight I had the pleasure of spending the evening with them as we celebrated my younger brother Greg’s 30th birthday. It was a great night to catch up with friends too, as I haven’t been here for a few weeks, and I love having the mix of family and friends. It was fun to hear Dad tell some stories that had everyone laughing so much, actually Greg did too – I love the humour in our family. Dad, David and Greg are all funny and engaging story-tellers.
I took this photo as Lyndon and Dad had just arrived at the party, back from their skydiving day at Forbes (2 hours from here). Noreen, a skydiving friend had asked them to give Greg a big Birthday hug, so I turned the camera on as quick as I could for this fun moment!
I think the most special moment was when Greg’s wife Nicole said that Greg’s known for his lovely easy going, considerate nature and that she wanted people to know that he’s the same at home, and treats her the same way every day. That made me melt. I’m so proud of him, and so happy for them both.
