I’m grateful to be living on the edge of town, and taking the dog for a walk always makes me appreciate the area so much more. We only need to walk about 100 metres, past about 6 houses, with a dog so excited she pulls us along, and we’re on the edge of town and I can let her off the leash to run around, sniffing trees as she did this afternoon.
I couldn’t get her to stay still long enough for a picture, as she raced past me so fast. These pictures give you a glimpse of the lovely walking track, a beautiful place to go, any time of day really, but I often go just before sunset.
Having lived in the middle of town for about 15 years, and now 2 years on the very edge, I’m returning to my country girl love of open spaces. I’m grateful, not only for where I live, the neighbourhood, the people, and the convenience, but also the fact that I have the choice!
I’m also grateful that tonight I’ll be going to the school to pick up Lyndon and Ethan as they return home from Ethan’s school excursion to the Blue Mountains. I can’t wait to see the pictures!
What and where, are you grateful for?
Cheering you on,
Love Kerrie
