It’s fun being in the news with Grandad, and so fun to show him the papers the other night.
We’re off to Kokoda this morning, with a few other veterans and the Kokoda Track Foundation. Mum will be flying in later in the week to join us for the Kokoda Day Commemoration event.
We’ll be back with lots of news and photos – in the meantime, here’s the Gilgandra Weekly and Dubbo Liberal sharing a little news. (Scroll to the bottom of the page for a video interview with grandad.)
I have no idea how this week will unfold really, I just knew I had to make it happen for Grandad, and our families and wider community. We can learn so much from our Veterans and its important to honour their service, sacrifice and courage.
