I’m so grateful for a sunny day, and the chance to get out in the fresh country air, with a cappucino and live Jazz at Red Earth Estate this morning. I stayed long after the crowds had gone, sitting in just the right blend of sun and shade, editing a few chapters of the book, and contemplating more thougths to add.
On my way back to the car I walked past many beautiful Wattle trees, and stopped to look closely and watch the bees at work. I think their honey might be something special… The trees were so fragrant and reminded me of the wattle trees on the farm. I loved to pick the Wattle and bring into the house, to my mothers hayfevered distress, until the tree died from a lightning strike… a sad day for me, and a celebration for Mum!
I’m grateful to be alive, to be able to go for a drive and enjoy the ever changing view, for good coffee, great music and wonderful people.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Love Kerrie
