This is one of the funniest videos I’ve done – because you can’t interview a comedian and keep a straight face.

I was delighted to spend some time with Stig Wemyss (rhymes with dreams) in New Zealand at the Dulux Accredited Conference recently and he was happy to share a few insights from his experiences in the entertainment industry. This is a useful video for any creative entrepreneur – and anyone who feels a bit unique. You are! Go for it, be your best self and look for opportunities to do what you love.
Stig is a seriously funny man, who’s also incredibly clever, generous, thoughtful and a leader in his industry. I observed his fantastic leadership as he had a team of young champions with him at the conference (who I also chatted with at length) and I wished that more young people had such mentors. I hope you enjoy this moment of mentoring here with Stig.
Ponder what is your point of difference.
Consider what changes you can make, what you can learn or how you can adapt so that you can keep on doing what you love when things change around you.
Inspired? Please share and inspire someone else!
Cheering you on,
Kerrie
PS. Hans Kunnen also discussed this last point in our conversation in Dubbo earlier this year. Adapt, change, and see new opportunities, rather than getting stuck in the challenges. When have you done this? What kind of shift occurred in your world?
