This year began slowly for me in a professional sense, as I took a lengthy sabbatical from November to spend quality time with our son before he left for the Air Force. I’m a super-proud mum, and so happy for the family time we’ve shared, from our hikes in the jungle of Penang, the streets of Cambodia (which are mentioned in the e-book) and hawker centres of Singpore – and the late night chats on the lounge at home.
So here’s to 2019 – a year of more global connecting, deeper learning and more effective contributing to the world around us – from home in regional Australia to the villages of Asia and Europe.
