Possibly one of the most shared statements-of-encouragement that I’ve seen over the past few years is “Look for the helpers” (quoting the legendary Fred Rogers). With all the chaos that goes on around us, whether man-made bad news or other unfortunate, devastating situations, it’s a reminder to see another perspective, one that brings comfort and refocuses our thinking to something more useful.
Check out my article in this book which includes a beautiful, local story – and think of all the moments of kindness you’ve witnessed and participated in. The more we focus on these things, the more we see of it, and the better space we’re in to focus on and create solutions. Which is what our world needs right now! More on this soon.
