Welcome to part 3! (see intro, part 1 and part 2 here)
Step 3: Create opportunities
It’s time to brainstorm and put all your ideas on paper. Perhaps you can ask for support. Who do you know that is passionate about customer service? When you start focusing on all the possible options, you’ll be amazed at the ideas that come to you.
List all the free possibilities, and all the low-cost ones, and focus on these first. A smile is free, a bowl of lollies is very inexpensive, and a colourful stamp or sticker for visiting children can make the spender’s experience far more pleasant for them and more lucrative for you.
Discuss your list! Expand it by hearing your staff and customers ideas. Start implementing and enjoy!
