So we launched How to Talk to Strangers
This past week has been a whirl of highs and lows and I’m coming up for air to share a few useful, inspiring resources to cheer you on. So we launched How to Talk to Strangers – to Decrease Anxiety, Build Confidence and Make a Bigger Difference in the World, on Friday 6 August, with a global audience, and guest authors who contributed to the book.
I reflected on the launch with Meenakshi, my enthusiastic, fabulous assistant and recorded our conversation for the podcast. I shared a little of the journey of writing along with a hint of stories in the book, both humorous and insightful Meenakshi, having been behind the scenes, shares her insights and learning from the incredible stories we all shared.
This episode highlights a book of genuine connection and stories from different connectors that will encourage you to see real connections with people around you. You can also catch the essence of the book, as I read the beautiful Foreword by Masami Sato, founder of B1G1, the global giving movement.

A day before How To Talk To Strangers launched, a new friend arrived by way of enthusiastic greeting in Linkedin.
A day after the launch, we were on a call to record for his Self Improvement Daily podcast.
I’m truly honoured and grateful for this conversation with Brian Ford, who asked brilliant, heartfelt questions that unlocked new thinking. Enjoy this episode! And on my instagram, you can see the 2 minute episode he pulled from it – all about awkwardness! Yep, I felt a little awkward about that – but when awkward moments lead to growth, it’s all good!
